John Law

I am very proud to represent world class pianist John Law and his Congregation for touring in 2020.  I first saw him at the QEH during the London Jazz Festival 2012. My impressions are here. What always strikes me about John’s work is that a) it never disappoints, he’s always pushing the boundaries so you hear and absorb something new,  b) he brings out the very best in his band members whether young  and enthusiastic or worldly-wise and c) he composes wonderful tunes so it’s an enjoyable experience.

So I was very pleased when John asked me to work with him to promote his Congregation double album release tour in 2016.  That was a massive tour of over 20 dates and was supported by Arts Council England.  His Congregation features one of my favourite saxophonists – James Mainwaring – so it’s going to be an exciting journey!

In 2018 I was involved with John’s tour of India, liasing with contacts in India and was privileged to see him perform at a workshop, a house concert, clubs gigs and an open air festival gig – all in the amazing city of Delhi.  John recorded a new album with Congregation in 2018.

The new album is called CONFIGURATION and it will be released on Ubuntu Music in May 2020, accompanied by a major tour including the album launch at King’s Place, London.
